personal use only mind you; if its for work, you need to pay a license fee
pgp is supposedly the best out there. I think there are 2 versions, 1 ofr inside the US, one for outside. If you are outside the US & you want the US version you have to convince/fool the system that you're inside because it won't let you DL it on the grounds of "national security".

If you can't get PGP, search for "kremlin" security system. It's also pretty good & easy to get free.

Isn't there some sort of crack to make it work? I'm seriously considering Linux...but my opinion is that Netscape sucks...😕

the latest version of Netscape is the same as Mozilla, which means it is really really good. i also think the previous version of netscape really really sucked.

Netscape and Opera (built on top of netscape i believe) aren't that tricky to use, and are usually a lot more stable.

IE is a microsoft product, therefore unstable by definition.

with the exception of excel, every other program microsoft has created is too big, too complicated and has too many bugs.

IE is probably the best around that i've tried, all the others are far too restricitve in what you can do. i think microsoft products are pretty good, they may have lots of bugs, but they have lots of patches as well! Excel certainly rules!!!!

And the alternative is...?

Have you tried running OSX from Apple on a network? Talk about problems!!!@!@!!@ Macs are THE worst on a network.

Sorry, just frustrated because we run a design shop and the new MACS only run on OSX and they DON'T run. At least Microsoft doesn't release things as premature as Apple. Every patch breaks more than it fixes! Arrrrggg!! 😠

Ah...well, if you say so!

Is there a trial or something of it somewhere on the internet?
