Yes its worse than I thought, Germany are mediocre, so are France, Italy. . . meh who am I kidding the fools always self implode, will be fun watching them do so. The worst thing about it was that yesterday while on the phone to my mobile provider I learned from a call handler that they actually got some little time off in the office to watch them w ...[text shortened]... ! Oh the injustice! calls waiting and they are watching the auld enemy winning, it was too much!
At least you can distract yourself with Scotland's next game.

Originally posted by PonderableThe man was a genius though, we gotta respect his opinion. Perhaps his criticism has some merit, Schweinsteiger is getting on and is not the player he once was and I suspect that Germany are really missing the likes of Philip Lahm.
What a surprise. The good Michael has still not digested that he was out for the World Cup 2010 and that he did not get an Exit game on his Terms.
Originally posted by robbie carrobieOf course Ballack is an expert. You know how they say in Germany?

The worst Job to have is Bundestrainer there are about 60 Million People who feel to have more Expertise...
Originally posted by Ponderableyes of course but he really was possibly one of the greatest midfielders of his generation and who is there to replace him? Schweinsteiger or Khedira? they are different types of players. Perhaps football has changed since then and players like Michael Ballack are very few in a generation, we should indulge him some out of respect for a great player.
