Here we just use the statistically calculated inflation rate when referring to the inflation rate.
I'm sure there is some link between the two, but to use them as substitute for each other is wrong.
Do you really think Zimbabwe has a government rate of inflation index that makes any sense?. Lacking that, there's nothing else to use but an exchange rate for comparison, is there? You lose again, at every turn. Don't you ever get tired of being wrong?
