Beacause i didnt have the choice, i got randomly picked to go to france.
Besides, id have prefered france anyway, great country. My french is pretty poor so id rather speak english, which they are bad at. But with an mix of french and english and non-vocal communication you can understand easy things. Deep discussions is something else tho:p

I remember one wierd moment at dinner one evening. We (me and that family) were just eating and all of a sudden that mother asks me something that souded like:
"Are you still angry?"
I was like wtf? im not angry, neither was I. So i said i didnt understand, Je ne comprends pas and stuff. After a few times repeating the word 'angry' the kid gives the word with a more correct pronouncement and i could finally tell them that i wasnt hungry anymore😛
