I was looking at the clan leadership board to make sure my beloved Metallica is still on top when I discovered that FNM has turned over leadership of the Jewish Clan to someone else. This sparked my curiosity so I read FNM's profile and discovered that he is leaving RHP.
I remember when I first joined this site the battles that Metallica and the Jewish Clan would have. And now I can't believe he is leaving just when he got over 60000 moves...It just blows my mind. Unbelievable.

Faith No More PM'd the Clan ( I'm a member ) and he's just way overwhelmed with things and RHP has been taking over his life (some of us know what that's like) so he did what is best for him and is stepping away for a while. I am sad to see him go - he was a good Clan leader and a great guy. He turned leadership over to Ed and we (the Jewish Clan) have all the faith in him that FNM does.

But RHP seems to burn people out quite a lot - It became like a drug to me too at one point -
Shaul (aka. FNM aka Faith No More) was certainly a character here (and a good one too) and I remember the thousands of messages going back and forth about our rivarly (of course that was all before the contuseless clown clan with it's ill-minded clan leader showed up and took over the clan forums) ...
Anyway, I'm rambling ...

but i understand: 60000 moves is a lot.
i am on 39000 and also found it covered too much of my life.
FNM seems to be going with the flow of his expired membership.
i am doing something similar .... but instead of leaving the site i am just not renewing my membership .... i can afford to renew and wish russ all the best of finances ... but i will not renew because i do not trust myself ... i would just start 150 games again ... 6 games is much better for me at the moment.
