But my guess is that Moldy Crow just thought it was a funny word which would sound good as an insult.

Back on topic...I saw this kid at school the other day, and thought to myself, "Where was that kid when necks were handed out?". It turns out hes about 150 Kilograms, and is only 13. That is nuts.

I blame the creationists for the obesity epidemic. Let me explain 😛.
This 'balanced-diet-2000-kilocalories-per-day' business is bollocks. Evolutionarily, I suspect that since the advent of meat-eating, the tendency has traditionally been to eat a very spotty diet, in a very-short-period feast/famine cycle governed by the immediate availability of food imposed on a long-period feast/famine cycle governed by fluctuations in animal populations, the seasons, etc. In many cases, agriculture imposed a more regular diet on people, but this has only been in comparatively recent times (agriculture has only really existed for about 1/10th of the time that people have been recognisable as 'modern humans'😉. In other words, our lifestyle has changed much faster than our evolved metabolic preference. I'm talking sh1t, but there may be a grain of truth in it: we should eat like Wolves or BIG CATS, and we probably shouldn't eat Muffins.
