Errm. It's like a piece of toast with, um err, how do i say this without sounding totally &*&^%%$^ sarcastic, baked beans on it.

I have just discovered two new cheeses recently that are absolutely fantastico. Sainsbury's 'cheddar with silver pickled silver skin onions'. And also Tesco's 'Mature cheddar with chives and shallots'. Both are absolutely gorgeous. Especially with a bottle of dry white wine. Mmmmmmmmmmm.

Well yeah.....in all honesty, whose favorite foods are healthy ones, eh?

But sushi isn't totally unhealthy, right?

Acutally I believe the original thread topic was "favorite foods" and not "last meal". I believe I threw in that sidebar. I love all of those foods I mentioned but I rarely eat them.

I actually thought of a very perverse restaurant concept that I think might have some legs if done in Texas (no offense elvendreamgirl). I would call it Death Row Diner (DRD) or Death Row Cafe (DRC) where you could order the last meals of those executed. It would not given any publicity to anyone who has been executed. In other words, you could not order a "John Wayne Gacy" burger or anything but you could order some of the most common death row meals. I think a great many of them tend to be American classics like Bacon double cheeseburgers and fried chicken.

So if all of you are about to run me out of town, please go easy with the pitchforks, okay? I did say the first thing that it was a perverse idea 😲

Would you expect them to be different?

No but I think the point jimslyp69 was making was that all of my foods were unhealthy which the majority of them are and if it were my "last meal" why would you care about your health?

You can have your favorite foods be unhealthy but there is a good chance you couldn't eat them all of the time.

I'll take your point with a pinch of salt.
