They'll have to know you a bit before they'll consider becoming your friend. If you participate for a while in the forums here, maybe join a clan (you'd need to be a subscriber for that) or a club (those are open for non-subs), and start your games with a friendly message that lets your opponent know you wouldn't mind some conversation in the game, you may find after a few weeks or months that you have found friends without asking for them.
