@woodgirl saidJudo, rugby and cricket. At school only and specifically, boxing, cross-country running, basketball.
I was rubbish at all of the sports we did at school. I lacked the coordination to catch a netball or hit a tennis ball and spent most of my time fielding during a game of rounders.
I also played darts at a good standard in the London leagues in the late 1980s. I turned down the chance to play pool against Oxford University in 1984 and 1986. I also played solid Mansour Bahrami-level table tennis in Indonesia in the early 1990s.
As measured against the cold harsh reality of the world around me, my best sport was judo at a regional and national level.
The sport through which I had the most impact on others [captaining, coaching, club committee etc.] was cricket.
@fmf saidHave you been boxing apples long and does it pay well? 😛 🙂

@badradger saidmy putting sucks
apart from chess what do you play and are you a good or bad at it?
unless i'm on one of those exciting greens with a windmill and an alligator pond, then i can bank my slapshots fairly well
@woodgirl saidI went to a sports mad school. Taught by American brothers [and Irish priests]. Very serious basketball. Hardnose approach to rugby. "Track and field" strong. Soccer and cricket weak. Judo was a whole different world from school.
That’s a wide range of sporting games and games.

@very-rusty saidYes, he did give school and university a mention.
When would he be doing this, he is always here! 🙂
He died once and came back to life also. 🙂
Perhaps he is talking in his younger years!

Actually he still has the physique of a sportsman Rusty. I recon he does a few squats & burpees between posts in his recording studio.
@woodgirl saidYes, he did give school and university a mention which was how long ago?

@shallow-blue saidHe was disillusioned by Freud
Rotten book, though. A cheap knock-off Freud, didn't even acknowledge it, and was even more dubious than him.
@the-gravedigger saidBetter than being disillusioned by the TWINS! 🙂 😛
He was disillusioned by Freud

@the-gravedigger saidShouldn't have thought up a cheap knock-up copy of his id-ego-superego theory, then.
He was disillusioned by Freud

Look into my eyes, look into my eyes
You are to be friends with, and support the TWINS
Repeat after me…
“The TWINS rule … the TWINS are good… the TWINS are my overlords”
Your “disillusionment” complete!
