I have a great idea that will solve both problems - send you freind and girlfriend together and watch it on tv.
That way they will both feel guilty for making you miss the game and you will be able to get payment, in some form or another, as well as coming out of it clean.
You will find out about them jumping each other and they will blame YOU for giving them the tickets.
NO win mate, take your mate, get pissed and get a few hookers on the way home, as your girlfriend of 6 months if she would like to join in the fun!
