Inadvertent omission. Brings the corrected total (net of two duplications and one omission) to twenty six. Believe it or not, Nov 14 at 10:00 am I'm scheduled for a full eyecare exam. Haven't had one for decades. Been wearing $10.00 drugstore glasses for reading and night driving long as I can remember. Medicaid covers the cost of exam, surgery and prescription eyeglasses if needed.

Have them check for cataracts. At your age you're likely to have one or two.

Relevant to your inability to detect thinly veiled sarcasm? Relevant to your patriotic bozo avatar? I don't know. Pick one.

Relevant to that hideous, gaping orifice beneath your twitching nose.

Hey I'm sorry about the bozo thing. I generally leap at the opportunity to use the word "bozo" because I just like it. It's quirky and goofy. As a matter of fact, I absolutely love your avatar.

I feel inspired to compose an opera. Where the happy, successful, patriotic clown blows Pagliacci's head off for merely questioning his compassion and love of country.

Thanks. I retract the orifice thing. The avatar is a Sports Illustrated photo of a face-painted
soccer fan in Germany cheering on the American women in this year's World Cup competition.

Would the opera work with a soccer theme? I don't think it's been done before.

Point of fact, the girl looks quite attractive. I mean, I guess I'd insist she take off the face paint before bedding her down, but, other than that I'd welcome it 24x7.

And now I'll go repent.

Results: Clean bill of health, except for minor early stages of cataracts. Four month follow-up,

meanwhile continue wearing 3.0 drugstore glasses routinely and using Visine three times daily.

Grapvine street wisdom has it that ingesting Visine can make a person violently ill.
