I was sat in a friends 'yard' on the Southside of Chicago, enjoying an excellent barbeque, drinking good beer (we got a barrel in), TV set up outside in anticipation of the IRAN vs. the 'Great Satan' back in '98.
It never really lived up to my expectations, but the party was a good one. A match I'll never forget.

Originally posted by RussNoone likes losing to the "Great Satan". When they beat Portugal last time out, a few friends of mine nearly did themselves in. (from portugal, they were, which illustrates their reasonings. i just mocked them tremendously)

It's not so much because Satan is the Prince of Darkness, more that he's cr@p at football.
Plays a mean fiddle, though.😉

2-1 against Holland, with Archie Gemmill's awesome goal?
I never realised that the Scots managed to beat Cruyff's team, which embodied "Total Football", well done lads!
