Fully agree on the Tomorrow War; tried it twice.

Did you see Live Die Repeat with Tom Cruise? (I think that what it was called. )
It was called Edge of Tomorrow.

Oh, sorry, rookie beat me to it.

I really enjoyed Schindler’s List; it is a good film.
But was it entertaining?

I suppose so, if you think the Holocaust was entertaining.

i thank you for reminding me this one is in my queue
Loved it. Watched it three times now.

Not sure why it appeals so much; just the whole learning via a Groundhog Day thing I suppose.

People love to dish on Chris Pratt.
I agree, I like his acting.

I mentioned Hell of High Water earlier, which he is in and although his character is a little underplayed he is very good. have you seen it?

For me yes.

I think Ponderable is a little upset with me about an unrelated issue and is trying, rather too hard, to be contrary.

Do you mean Hell or High Water?

That was Chris Pine, not Chris Pratt.

Do all Americans look the same to you?

Of course you would think that. He actually had the balls to disagree with you. How dare he.

It was just a mistake Suzianne; try to understand that every post isn’t some sort of attack on you, your family, your nation or your god.

Yes I do think that and I have good evidence to state it.

I have no idea as to the capacity of his gonads.

How so?

Any examples?
Yes, Independence Day was entertaining but it was not a good film.

Well that’s a fair example, well considered and lacking in partisan nonsense.

Thanks

Thanks, another example:

Nightmare Alley has good reviews and is considered a good film, it's why my daughter and I decided to see it. We didn't find it at all entertaining, rather uncomfortable, so we left after an hour, the film lasted for 2,5 hours.

Good films though I think are Godfather 1 and 2 - they have everything. 🙂

Strong Oscar contender this year:

The Power of the Dog.

Starkly uncomfortable in spots, it is a great character study with strong characters, played well by a great cast.
