Many would be a political usage, in order to promote an opinion.....6 or 7 would not constitute as many in some places.

When someone who is not as popular posts a thread, that thread being on page one is the main way it is seen by the average forum reader. If someone constantly chips their threads to the top, then someone else is forced to the bottom.

Secondly, like i've been trying to say....too much of a "good" thing makes you sick, regardless of how hooked you are on the good.
