You are absolutely right Mikelom, but I don't think Dave was really advertising his charity 😉. It's also more rewarding to make a direct contribution on a small scale then just donating money throug a big fundraising I think.

Lots n lots of smalls. An if you see an elder in distress..... get your wallet out! They fought for us!!

Or just lend them your ear once in a while... You wouldn't believe how many elderly are just dying to talk to someone about pretty much anything 🙂.

I'm sorry, I couldn't translate that sentence... My English is to rudimentary 🙁.

I just meant that many elderly this day and age are very lonely, somewhat put aside by society (even after the heroic things they did for us) and would love to have somebody to just talk to. So, when on the bus or in the supermarket an elderly starts a conversation, just listen, even if it costs you fifteen minutes or up to half an hour... it would make there day 🙂. Too many people just ignore them and walk away 🙁.
