Okay so I have a hangover! stupid public holidays! ๐Ÿ™‚

The usual music I listen to involves much loud thumpy stuff (system of a down, distrurbed and the such)

I find tori amos very soothing for a hangover not thumpy in the least....

what does everyone listen to with a hangover?

The wind and the birds and the ocean and the spaces between the noise and confusion of this wicked cuss.

for some reason (not abstention) I never get hangovers no matter what or how much i drink. but i think if i did get one, Cocteau Twins would be ideal, or some kind of ambient...

If you want soothing sounds, try something by the old English counterpoint composers like William Byrd and Thomas Tallis. Or perhaps something by Arvo Paert.

If, on the other hand, you need to do something (like work) you might find a bit of dub helpful. Rhythmic but not too insistent...

Chakan, are you still hung over?

JC sitting at God's right hand, JC sitting on his left.

"The Kneeling Drunkard's Plea" comes to mind.

You are obviously in the wrong Clan, frogspawn!

Like you can hear the ocean in an empty shell, you can hear the grapes growing into truth in an empty wineglass. In the unliklely event that we become hungover at In Vino Veritas, we listen to the empty glass.
