I'd work on your lyrics 😛
This is a home made song, and I am sure it is hard to follow tabs if you have never heard the song! But I'll give it a try.
g 330023
d 23200X
c 01023m
e 001220
All chords above are from high string to low string. 0 is open, X is don't play or at least mute it!
m sounds better muted or don't play.
Accent the heavy strings for G's and E's. Play the C's and D's to taste.
All done down strokes for about 12 beats each chord, keep going through the chords. 12 each or get fancy.... 12 beats per chord take about 4 seconds for each set of 12. 4 chords, 12 beats each. (play fast... sing slow)
First is the text of the song line by line. Next I tried to show the changes for each line of text.
1234!1234!1234!1234!
Here are the lyrics.
Yoko Ono,
Broke up the Beatles,
She tore the greatest band ever heard
Into a million pieces.
I Broke down and cried!
Back in Nineteen Sixty Nine.
As I had done so much before,
I Broke down and cried!
Back in Nineteen Sixty Nine.
Being Twelve weeks old and all!
Yoko Ono,
She sang back up vocals!
She sang Nya nya fa ra ra ra!
So don't you do the same! Come on!
I broke down and cried!
Back in Nineteen Eighty Nine.
She called it Double Fantasy,
I broke down and cried!
Back in Nineteen Eighty Nine.
But it was more of a nightmare too me!
Ono, Yoko!
She played the Tambourine!
She tried to outdo Ringo.
That was enough for me!
I broke down and cried!
Back in 1999!
It was a box car with bullet holes.
18 dead in Old Mexico!
I broke down and cried!!!
Thinking of Yoko when John died.
You think it really sucked for us?
I bet it really sucked for her!
Remember, 12 beats, about 3 beats per second, switch the 4 chords G D C E.
gggg gggg gggg gggg dddd dddd dddd dddd
Yoko Ono, Broke up the Beatles,

Jam! G D C E
Now before you go to the next lines... do some jams.. Replace half the down notes with ups, get rid of every 3 stroke... or whatever.. make it sound good. I like to do all the E's in the 12 down after funking through the GDC's.
After that go back to the quick tempo of the all down strokes 12 beats.
Same number of lines as above / all sounds the same so use the same lyric breaks per beats for each set of lyrics. Last Couple Lyrics sing the 4th line through the e's rather than just struming to take up the time.
Blahhhh blah blah blah, bluh blahhh bla blahhhh..
Blahhhh blah blah blah, bluh blahhhh bla blahhhh.....
and into final jams.
So, hard to explain... but if anyone gets it I'd love to know! I was playing the chords and a couple friends were laughing at me.... but once I started singing they really laughed... but it was the good laugh.
I've got a couple friends who play leads to this music, and if one of them does the rythm I can sing and play harmonica. This will be one of the first songs I record to share once I get my "studio"... Lol!
Enjoy, and laugh at me if you so feel! I feel rather brave to try and share this... and not even sure anyone will have any idea what the song really sounds like.

Originally posted by shavixmirI paid about 15 bucks for a tuner... could have gotten a much better one for about 35. I was sick of taking 3 days to finally ear tune my guitar... now it just takes a few minutes. Also, I've become much better at tuning now that I've been fiddling with that for 2 months... when I forget my tuner, I can now tune the guitar in about 10 or less minutes. Not perfect, but way better than I could do it before.
I play guitar.
I'm not very good though.
I've got an acoustic guitar (classic/Spanish/whatever) with nylon strings and I've got a fake telecaster...completely black...looks cool, sounds like it's not tuned. (maybe it isn't, how can I possibly know?)
If your guitar is not in tune, I don't car who you are! You will sound like crap. Sometimes I sound like crap anyway... good guitar playing is like a mood, comes and goes.
