You go on playing chess, especially, if true, because you have the
talent for it. 13 os THE age to study chess if you want to achieve a
high level. And chess won't prevent you being a normal kid. You'll
have your dates alright. However, chess might not really be the
subject they want to hear about. Try Britney, unless she loves, let's
say, Beethoven et al. Take her to a museum of fine arts, a play, a
good movie, and remember: a real kiss -that has been scientifically
proven!- a real drug. It effects hormones and other chemical reaction
in the human body. So, win them all: chess-games and love stories.
Good luck, lad! Jan
There is a higher rated female at 13 than you?
I still find that very cool...but little tip for ya...A Preacher that
congratulates himself has a congregation of one.
Being great at chess does not only entail being a good player...but a
good person as well.
I know it is hard to be humble when you are great...one day maybe I
will be great...then I can learn to be humble..hehehe

Remenber you are 13th but most of us are older, wich means we have
more expirience than you, you are aroun 1500 uscf, in 17 games I
played in United States I am 2170, and I m not in the top 20, more
than 15 players here play the same strengs as me or even stronger,
so you have to work hard.
But I have to admit that you are young and this is your moment, if
you practice and are organized may be this site gonna be not enough
for you and probably i am talking to a next GM.
Keep working hard and...
This you could get working hard and not talking, to talk is very easy
but to win against a player isnt.
