Halloween Costume

I'm dressing up on wednesday for haloween, as you do. However, there is a catch: I'm dressing up and playing football, as are the rest of my team, in a league match. So, I need a costume that is not restrictive in any way, and preferably involves shorts. My best idea yet is a school boy with shirt, tie, blazer, then shorts and an old cap. Since he's Scottish, maybe he should wear something under his kilt as his costume.
