SirLoseAlot, you reckon you're free of it now after just renaming the dll. I'd be very surprised. Download XoftSPy (free for scanning) and run a system scan. Bargain Buddy brings along a few more of his buddies for a little spyware/adware party on your pc.

Your cure is worse than the disease. These "spyware" programs are usually just spyware themselves. Not only that they eat away at your system resources until your computer moves like molassas. It's usually recommended that you wipe and reformat your hard drive every six months anyway.

I reckon you'd make a fortune if you set up a satirical help desk website for people with pc problems.

Sure there are some rogue anti spyware programs out there, hence I recommended one that has worked very satisfactorily for me in the past. As regards system resources, XOftSpy does diddly squat unless I tell it to.
