The boss and I and about 6 computers need the best new virus protection (or firewall if that's good enough these days?)
Anyway, we were using Zone Alarm and seems I've heard (and expierienced) it sucks now. Like they did well for a bit and got happy and gave up.
That seems what happened with McCafee and Norton.
Now the boss says he was told Norton is strong...
Well, anyway... Plx Advice Best Idear.

Mcafee is the standard for most government offices in Canada.
If you just have personal computers the new Norton 360 is good and has a decent firewall.
If you just want basic protection AVAST and the new AVG are good but also use Malwarebytes to scan for any Malware missed.

The AVG got one virus cleared up as well as tons of cookies... the Malware also did a nice job of getting rid of some junk.
Thanx again, you are a TRUE AMERICAN HERO.

Malwarebytes is really good about doing updates (usually come out every day with a new update ) so make sure you update it before you scan again.

I don't see Malwarebytes in my task bar... is it running now?
Does it auto update?

It is strictly a scanner. Not a resident shield. But the AVG has one so you should be covered for most things.
