I think I won a few games against some ratings around 1640 at that time too, not sure, will check. My first game, which I lost, was also against a high rater for a provisional like she went through, at least he was 1700 rated something at that time and I was down and out that game. To Ragandrack, I am pleasantly suprised that you are actually able to differentiate between a female and a lady given that your natural mother was neither and your natural father was........well, the RSPCA is still working on that.
