limit is a completely different game that you have to trailer your game for, in other words sometimes you have to fold AA. it's not the best hand in limit, not by a long way. not in the early blinds anyway, when a bet in the later blinds is enough to scare away some people then AA is good. limit rules.

to much luck in no limit imo, i like pot limit but that turns into no limit to quickly as the blinds go up.

Nah. Limit is more luck. Your AA is good, but all the lame tards call the preflop with 23 because its limit. Then they get cards, full houses on the flops etc. Thats luck, and irritating for people with decent hands.

Poker is luck in general really...

it's all about adapting your style to the rules. limit there will be more hands than no limit without question, ergo, more hands = more chance skill will prevail.

what? same theory with heads up, obviously the more hands that are played the better chance the better player has of out playing xe's opponent. but then again there is always that chance that luck will enter it and give them both killer hands with the better player being unlucky and losing.

btw is it still a bad beat if you call all in with JJ pre-flop, run into KK and hit a J on the flop but then get beat with a K on the river? just happened to me 😞
