The Principal's been cracking down on that social time from what I can tell.
You don't get lunch? Or are there other times you get access to the lounge? We don't have specials or recess (aside from lunch time) so it's then or never.

I get my lunch at a different time than everyone else precisely so that I can supervise while everyone else is lunching. I also get one ten-minute break a day. I can go to the lounge any time I want.

I miss breaks 🙁 Lucky you. Are you supervising recess or something? I thought you had older kids.

You are suspicious. X sounds like a silly rumor, or conspiracy theory, or something equally untrustworthy, but the person insists it's true. They insist and insist, trying to make you admit that it must be true.

Do you honestly admit that yo ...[text shortened]... t them by telling them they are wrong?

This is one reason I tend to avoid people.
That's not true, -You avoid people because your'e so shy.

Recess and lunch. Yes, I work in a middle school, but they're still minors.

There is a game for the sadistic to play. You need some friends or aquantances willing to play the same game, and more importantly you need a victim.

You isolate the victim among your compatriots and during the evenings conversation someone says "I was in London and I saw the Eiffel tower".

The victim will protest that this is clearly wrong, at which point your fellow sadists will rally around to say that no, the Eiffel tower is clearly at the West end of Hyde Park, with an excellent view of Westminster abbey and Buckingham palace from the top.

This goes on until you reduce the victim to a state of unhappy selfdoubt, psychosis or tears, as you wish.

There was a point to this but I forget what, in any case, all the best of luck to you all.

Yes that's because the architect who built them is touring them all over Europe this year, and currently he's having a show in Vegas, Southern Germany.
