I am so rich that I can sit in my nice warm house on a rainy fall evening , listen to cool jazz, with my sweet dog at my side munching a dog bone while I eat chocolate and my playmates at RHP amuse me!

Life is GOOD!

The 1,000,000 RHP subscription arrived this morning, and by coincidence, I have just finished writing AI-RUSS (V 1.0) - a superb piece of software that can manage this site in my absence, without any intervention by me, AND make decisions devoid of emotion - a ruthless, but fair, leader, I can tell you.

So I am off to sit on the beach for the rest of my life.

Not to diss the main point: the 1st world is shockingly disproportionately rich, but these figures ignore the more useful measurement of income vs. local costs. A loaf of brown bread costs about £1 in the UK, very significantly less in the 2nd/3rd worlds.

But isn't it interesting how easy it is to down the road of Rich = Money? There are many ways in which one can have a rich or barren life, money is but one such measure. And not a great one at that: a (near) total absense of money is an awful situation in any money-oriented economic society, but once you hit 'threshold' your life's richness will not be measured in $ signs.

Terrible sentence structure: I had to put a comma before a conjunctive, a generally bad thing to do, just to make it scan. Such a choice tends to indicate that the entire sentence needs serious rewriting...
