No. This isn't about sex. It's about guns.
Hell yeah!
I'm off to a shooting range to shoot... guns... I think.
We're going with a group of friends. One of them's hobby is shooting (he owns a Magnum... When he first told us that, I thought he was on about an ice-cream) and we're joining him. ON THE RANGE!!
I hope the targets have little pictures of ...[text shortened]...

Originally posted by Sam The ShamI 'm araid you're wrong on this one. The person who is going to own the gun must go through the instant check system. You can purchase a gun for yourself and go thru the instant check and later decide to give it or sell it to someone else, but that someone else would have to go (with you) to an FFL dealer, pay a fee, go thru the instant check and have the gun put in his name. It's Fed law. A private individual can no longer sell a private gun to another individual without going thru this process. I am talking about HAND guns. Long guns are still ok. for now, but you're taking a chance by not having it put in the other persons name. The FFL dealer keeps this info for tracing guns used in a crime.

To whom may an unlicensed person transfer firearms under the GCA? [Back]
A person may sell a firearm to an unlicensed resident of his State, if he does not know or have reasonable cause to believe the person is prohibited from receiving or possessing firearms under Federal law. A person may loan or rent a firearm to a resident of any State for temporary use for lawful sporting purposes, if he does not know or have reasonable cause to believe the person is prohibited from receiving or possessing firearms under Federal law. A person may sell or transfer a firearm to a licensee in any State. However, a firearm other than a curio or relic may not be transferred interstate to a licensed collector.
