I unplugged, raced for towels... dried best I could. It still didn't work.
I threw it in the sink, rinsed, leaned it up near the heat register... shook it... took the hair dryer to it. Tested. Failed... let it sit... tested failed. Tried again...
Now it's time to get a new one.
