No, he hasn't! 😀 Being a friend of mine, I will be kind. North Dakota is one of the most productive FARMING states in the union. It is also the nation's top producer of honey. But the western half of the state lies on a huge bed of shale oil. The Obama administration has been unable to stop production because it is on private land. He did everything he could to throw in its way such as fines for killing a few ducks that wandered into a puddle of oil one day, but production is increasing at an amazing rate. He stopped the Keystone pipeline coming down from Canada, so that they are lest with no alternative but to sell it to our "friends" the Chinese, but a new president would open that up immediately. If the Bakken is unfettered by anything the EPA and the libs can throw at it, our nation will be independent from OPEC. That is why the Arabs are scared to death of their man being removed from the White House. (Now I will duck for cover while the bricks are being hurled). 😛

No problem with me Ale, in fact I have a romantic view on the middle west largely made by Karl May.

😀 Yes we too....well the folks where there is oil in the ground (Alberta) will be selling it to the "friendly" Chinese if they can get British Columbia to allow them to build a pipeline through their province. Apparently though they're having some issues concerning B.C. getting there "fare share" of the profits Alberta will accrue from such a pipeline. Money, money, money.😳

Yes, the Bakken is so huge that it lies under the southern section of Alberta, Canada, the northeastern portion of Montana, and the NW section of South Dakota, though the main portion is covering the western area of ND. It lies under Indian reservation in both North and South Dakota, as well. This has resulted in increased revenues for the indigent populations residing in reservations. Many of the young folks are now able to be trained in a variety of jobs, which will increase their standard of living. All too often, the Native Americans have succumbed to the cheaper forms of drugs and alcohol which have resulted in birth defects and crime.
