Will there be a new election soon? What do the common folks think

they want? What do you see looming on the near term horizon?

Bottom line is that the "corrupt colition goverment" is trying to remove the General, wheather they actually achieve this objectives is debateable as their has been a lot of fighting in the North West Fronter recently.

And the General will not go down without a fight, the West prefers him as they know he has the balls to follow through.

I donubt very much their will be another election soon, common folk just want to live a peaceful life without the threat of being blown up while shopping

Personally, I think they if they push the Gernal too far, he will just take over again, its not like he does not know what to do

So long as he "keeps fighting Al Q", or appear too, he is a asset to the West and as a result will always be in favour

what are your views ?

RSMA, imagine political corruption and the lucrative drug trade add to the complexity of the overall military/real estate control situation.

No informed solution views but do believe the unrest and instability may widen and worsen before getting better or ever being resolved.

Yes I have it. I wish my neighbour would teach his cat to poo in a litter box and not my garden.

You raise in interesting point, and it makes sense

It will get worse before getting better, Pakistan was 61 years old yesterday, and seeing where we aer at the moment brings a little saddnes to me.

I guess the main difference between the East and West is that in the East correuption / mililtary control is more upfront and that I guess is done to human nature.

Pakistan as a nation is at a corss roads me thinks, if they do not stand up to the militants, then this could push back the country a few hundred years.

As for widening, I guess I think it is already pretty wide, when ever you speck with an extrmist and argue the point that this is not the way to act and that Islam is a peaceful relgioin, they always quote Iraq / Afganistan etc or the hypocritey of Bush for example, to a degree they have a point.

So I guess I'm saying that all side (both East / West) need to have a but better understanding & tolrance for each others view.

But the million dollar question is if human nature will allow that ?

Everytime you see the cat in you garden, get a water pistol and shot it with it.

We did have the same issue a few years ago, now the cat does not come in our garden.

Our next door person had a moan about getting his cat wet, but the reply was "are you going to clean up its mess afterwards "..... ?

Better still, in the UK you could ASBO the owner......

Agreed that our country would be much better if children were raised this way, however, I don't think it would have any increase in our manufacturing levels. The reason mfct. has gone down in this country is a direct result of free enterprise. The big companies continue to search for cheaper and cheaper labor. USA is the last place they'll look for that.

Three unrelated issues/symptoms of a once great nation's accelerating decline.
