@the-gravedigger saidIf you unionize, these tasks could be demarcated into three separate jobs and you could work as a non-manual better-paid shop steward before perhaps transferring to corporate where there are truly lucrative jobs doing things like public relations [improving the poor image of gravediggers] and strategic human resources [deunionizing and streamlining the three demarcated gravedigger jobs into one with stock-option bonuses for savings made].
The job of a grave digger is to prepare the ground for burial, dig the grave to the appropriate depth and size, and ensure that the grave is properly filled in after the burial.

@fmf saidSounds excellent. We could also have qualified HSE instead of making it up as we go along. A legal department to avoid getting sued and an insurance arm to indemnify us from the inevitable mistakes that get made.

I could then become a manager and offer to oversee the crematorium as well.
Trebles all round!

@the-gravedigger saidYou are clearly an in-house expert on so much more than merely digging holes in the ground.

@the-gravedigger saidThen take early retirement and become an extremely well-paid independent consultant who advises your former employer on how to address the problems you caused with the mistakes you made when you were a manager.

@drewnogal saidPlanning - everything from planning the next furniture piece restoration, home improvement project, budget, yearly business plan, exercise and weight loss program, or chess move (though the latter is often far from accurate) I enjoy sitting down with paper, pencil, cup of Earl Grey and mapping out all the details. A great activity for left brained introverts like me. 😵
We already have one on music & recording and I’ll appoint myself as the Permaculture Vegetable Garden Expert.
Any others to note?

@drewnogal saidI am sought after to give lectures and briefings on cross-cultural understanding and adaptation to foreigners coming to Indonesia to live, work, or study. I've been doing it for 10 years or more.

@ghost-of-a-duke saidTo update on this, I have discontinued use of magnesium glycinate to help with sleep and recommend caution with use. It is probably a dosage thing, but have experienced extreme stomach pain and a monster migraine.
I've become something of an expert over the last several years on things that aid or don't aid sleep. (Especially the later).
Recently started taking magnesium glycinate which seems to be helping. (Early days). It apparently absorbs better than other forms of magnesium and is best suited to improving sleep. (Helps your muscles to relax).
*Please don't start tak ...[text shortened]... without consulting your GP first, as with all things there are possible side effects/complications.
@ghost-of-a-duke saidPerhaps look at the various causes of insomnia and address those.

@fmf saidYou appear, not to be, a keeper of the details of your working dates. 10 years or MORE?🤔

@divegeester saidI've ticked those boxes.

@great-big-stees saidIt's probably more like 11 or 12 years.
