If they say it is do you have to see why it isn't? I'm not saying I agree with their approach. However, if they honsestly believe that they are trying to represent the black culture in a constructive/positive manner and advertise the long and tortured history of the black man in the US are they necessarily acting in an inappropriate manner? Perhaps you can educate them. The leader of the clan seems to be a reasonable and thoughtful person (and a blowhard).

I'm not American. But there are similarities with what the Australian Aboriginals faced. And for that, that's why I have a problem with an avatar of a black man in chains. I don't need to be reminded of what my people faced over the years, much the same of what the African American's have faced in the US.

Oh, allright, so its okay for me to be REMINDED of this, every time I see a post by this person, who had this avatar, and I have to remember that the pic, is telling me, that he should be chained, because of his race and because he is inferior. Okay, I get it now.
