I cannot, for the life of me, imagine the other man who just had his penis cut-off, to come to the table bleeding profusely and have a nice chat about the weather while gulting his own penis with a bottle of good wine.

However, this case is different since it was the protagonist who wanted to be stabbed/injured.
Edit: He also convinced the guy, as part of his undercover op, to perform homosexual acts upon him -- Now that's a different kind of stabbing! 😵
