I've taught my children how to Google. Very useful for school projects and assignments. In particular I've shown them how to use Google images. They find the images they want, then copy and paste them into a Word document.
My 11 yr old daughter needed to make a cover for her new Technology textbook. So she found four images to represent "Technology" ...[text shortened]... a link to the contraption, but I don't want to go the way of the Dutch Defence.
BTW😕he's 11 - 5th or 6th grade, why doesn't she know about masturbation?

She is in Grade 6, but she is still an innocent. She possibly knows about masturbation, but was not at all familiar with the word. It went right over her head. She just thought it was some fancy scientific term.
When I explained what it meant, she turned beetroot.
When my daughter was four, she and I were walking down a street where there were lots of lilac bushes one warm Spring day. We stopped at one so I could pick a blossom to put in her hair and she picked one to carry with her too.
As we walked further, she said, “Daddy, I don’t have any booties.” I said, “You don’t need them on a day like this, Sweetie.” She was confused at my answer but a few yards further ahead she again said, “But Daddy, I don’t have any booties.”
I responded, “It’s such a warm and beautiful day today. You don’t need them now.” Again, she was not happy with my answer, and thought hard about what I had said. I waited for her to say something about this again, as I knew she would. Then again she said, more firmly now, “Daddy, I don’t have any booties."
I said, “If you don’t have any, I will be happy to buy them for you, but you don’t need them on a day like this.” Then she immediately took control of the situation and said, “No Daddy, you don’t understand. Bend down here so you can see.” So I got down on my knees so that I was exactly at eye level with her, and she said, “Here Daddy hold my flower,” and she handed me her lilac blossom.
Then she reached down, pulled her shirt right up to her chin, and with a wide-eyed, priceless, innocent look on her face, she said, “See Daddy, no boobies!”
Well, I was roaring with laughter inside, but I maintained my composure on the outside and explained that I had not heard her correctly, but that I understood now. I solemnly promised her that she would get them when she was just a bit older (Daddies can make promises like that!), and she was happy with my answer.
She’s an adult now, but ever since then, whenever I see or smell lilacs, I think of her.
