Have you ever taken the time to consider:
What you are posting will probably be a permanent record for posterity.
What you post is a reflection of your thoughts.
What you post may upset someone else.
What you post is only read by a few people.
Taking this into account, why do people act like what they think is so important they have to send it out on ...[text shortened]... are only my thoughts, which I just had to plaster on the web, like any other plonker.

I thought most people posted their thoughts not because they think their thoughts are so important that everybody needs to hear them, but because they hope to get replies that give them new insights, a good laugh, affirmation or correction, or to get to know other people and maybe become friends. Personally I have both learned a lot and made friends (and enemies, which I could do without, but I guess that's life) here.
