Heck no! Bad manners?? If you feel more comfortable without
queens on the board, then do it. After all this is a game of chess.

Some opponents may get annoyed, but if you are here to please
them, then are you really playing chess? It is always proper for you to
steer a game in a direction you best understand. If that's queens off
the board, so be it!

I would caution you against playing your queen out TOO soon before
your other pieces are properly developed - against a strong competitor
that often leads to disaster.
