Meatloaf's Bat out of Hell only ringing in at 66?
Van Halen's Van Halen only 60?
i'm not sure about the credibility for all of this stuff...
the first Aerosmith isn't until the 50th something...
don't be disappointed...
they gave the Beatle's number one...
the Wall is MUCH better than anything the beatle's ever THOUGHT about puting together...

in fact, Aerosmith only had ONE(!!) in the top 200
this is bogus...
Bob Dylan had way too many on there...
he can't sing for crap (apparently, someone reported me the last time i said the *gasp!* s-word)
and Seger wasn't given anything but Night moves, which doesn't come close to Live Bullet or Stranger in Town
how enangering...
i'm still ticked about The Wall thing...
25th...

which part are you contradicting?
the Wall statements?
i swear, just listening to that album all the way through is enough to get me high...
so many mega-hits on one album
where does the list begin?
Another Brick in the Wall Part 2
Hey You
Comfortably Numb
The Trial
Young Lust
Run Like Hell
Mother (a way under played song on the radio, this is easily one of the best songs out of the '70s... period.)

Credit where credit's due. The Beatles earned their place at the top.

The Wall is about the 4th best Pink Floyd Album IMO.

For me, it's :
Wish You Were Here
Dark Side of the Moon
and Animals equal first.

But there are lots of the others that I really like too.

"And oh, by the way, which one's Pink?"

WYWH
Animals
DSOTM
The Wall

would be my top 4 PF albums, in order.

Sorry, I'm a child of the '80's and before they polished up their sound, PF was just another garage band, Syd Barrett or no.

Next you'll be saying Umagumma and Atom Heart Mother were better, too.

*sigh*

The Grateful Dead was never more than a jug band, but nothing produced by bands that came into existence after 1972 is in the same league as Pink Floyd, The Dead, and Dylan.

Why has your generation failed to achieve anything in music?

Astronomy Domine is one I really like but most of the others are not as good as the later stuff. That's my opinion anyway.
