Considering that entire Non-Muslim societies are being held hostage by capitalism (Singapore, Taiwon, South Korea), I think you're the one who's being a little unfair. At this stage in history, our society needs a fearless and blunt self-evaluation of how its tenets apply to other cultures. Because, for the most part, large parts of our society, thrive on hatred of Muslims, any values other than capitalism, and just about everything that contradicts its doctrines and tenets.
Considering the current state of affairs, I think its hard to argue that capitalism is a "voice of freedom" when so many occurences tell a much different story.
