Let me rephrase that: Why would this site be for people over a certain age only?
I think that we should not exclude 10 year olds. I don't see the reason behind that. People don't say worse things on this forum than you get on tv every afternoon, and chess can be played by kids as well. So, who knows a decent reason to exclude kiddos?

What about the site admin?
If you're really that bothered, use the search forums feature to read up on the history of it yourself, it wasn't fun digesting it all then and it sure isn't worth regurgitating it right now.
