I got a message from Ghana the other day:
This project will involve some details and procedures.
STEP ONE.
The first step and process will involve the
programming of your details in the data base and
network of the INTERNATIONAL COMMERCIAL BANK LTD so as
to legally establish you as the depositor and owner of
the funds in the Escrow deposit account with the
KANESHIE BRANCH of the bank.
The money is presently placed in an escrow deposit
account with my branch of the bank(KANESHIE BRANCH).As
the manager of the branch,i have already perfected
plans to establish you as the depositor and the owner
of the escrow account.This will be legally done and
perfected as the requisite legal protocol and
formalisation of necessary bureaucracy will be duly
observed and followed.
To facilitate the programming of your names and
details in the data base and network of the bank
toward establishing you as the owner of the escrow
account and the funds there in,you will have to
furnish me with the following,
1.Your full names.
2.Your contact Address.
3.Your private telephone number
The programming will be completed within one week and
upon completion a BACK DATED DEPOSIT SLIP will be
secured confirming you as the bona-fide owner and
depositor of the funds in the escrow account.
STEP TWO.
Upon the successful programing of your details in the
data base of the bank and making you the owner of the
Escrow account as will be confirmed by the deposit
slip which will be issued to you by the bank ,the next
step will commence.
You will on the strength of your ownership of the
escrow account as represented by the deposit
slip,write an application to the bank requesting for
formal closure of your escrow account with the
kaneshie branch of the bank and the transfer of the
funds in the escrow account when closed to the account
you will provide in the application which you will
send to the bank.
The bank will upon the receipt of your application
process your request and once your application is
successfully processed the bank will honour your
request and your escrow account with the kaneshie
branch will be formally closed and the funds
transfered to you to the account you have provided in
the application.
STEP THREE.
The bank will upon the successful processing of your
application and the closure of your escrow
account,transfer the funds in the closed escrow
account to your account(as provided in the
application) via telegraphic wire transfer.
You do not have to worry or panic as i am in full
control as the head of my branch of the bank.All the
requisite procedures will be adequately taken care of.
I will also oblige you a text(specimen) of the
application you will send to the bank when the time
comes.I will guide you as we progress in the execution
of the project.

And this one the same minute:
I will like you to respond to the following issues in
your return mail;
1.I hope i can trust and rely on you to handle the
project and that the fund will be safe and secured
with you after conclusion pending eventual
disbursement on the agreed percentages.I need to know
more about you including your occupation.
2.I hope your bank account can accommodate the funds
when eventually transfered to you without
attracting undue attention to the exercise.
3.I hope and believe that i can rely on you in
investing my share of the project in your country.I
hope your country is safe,secured and profitable for
my planned investment in real estate,stocks.
4.I am really concerned about the above issues as i
intend resigning from my job once the project has been
successfully accomplished and the money transfered to
you.
I will want your urgent reply to assure me of the
safety of the funds when received by you.

Anyone got any nice advice to keep this sucker hanging on for as much as I can to punish this fraudulent affair just a bit?
