lakers in 6. kolby is going to sink them no matter what. to contain shaq, they need 2 to 3 men on him which leaves players like fischer and payton to get th easy shots. id like the pistons to win, but im realistic in saying lakers in 6.

Another victory for the Pistons last night. Since the Pistons have demonstrated they are capable of winning in Los Angeles, I think this one is pretty much over.
Isn't game 5 in Detroit????
Detroit City Rocks!!!

I can't believe how tedious and boring the game of basketball actually is, though. It took nearly an hour to play the last nine minutes of the game. The clock is continually stopped by a never ending succession of fouls, timeouts, and commercial breaks. Back and forth, back and forth, squeek, squeek, squeek. I'll be glad when it's finally over so I won't feel compelled to watch it anymore.
A lot of radio talk is about how Defence is killing the sport.
I don't much care for the game either way... Not even if the Celtics got back into it. I would want them to win... But I wouldn't watch more than an hour of it I am sure.
As for Basketball... I can't decide if it is Wood Hockey or Soccer. LaMe gAmE!

Game were on too late for me here so I taped them. Yes its fairly difficult not to find out the score during the day (probably more difficult in Detroit), but atleast I get to avoid all those commercials. It's actualy over rather quickly and very exciting.
Go babaaaaayyyy. Kobe's not looking a happy bunny. Shaq is dominating, but not getting the ball too much eventhough he probably scored atleast 70% of the times he got the ball down low.

I actually saw a sequence like this a month ago or so. It took like 10 minutes to throw a single pitch. Give me hoops any day of the week.
But to get back on topic, I agree with pcaspian above. The Lakers need to give the balll to Shaq four times out of five. He's having huge games and Kobe is jacking up any number of ludicrous shots, hence his 8-25 performance, or whatever it was. And they rely too much on long jumpers from Kobe near the end of games, because of Shaq's poor free throw shooting.
Despite my half-jocular contrariness earlier in this thread, this series is done tomorrow, I think.

Well I certainly hope so. Don't want to see the Pistons have to play in LA. Foul trouble seems to be the issue for LA. We know Shaq has bad free throw pct, but he might get Ben W. a few fouls early on if he got the ball more often. That means Campbell has to guard him, again he can score over Campbell. Pretty interesting. I think Kobe is still thinking about his Game 2 winner, as he's throwing them up there all night. Amazed, LA doesn't seem to have any 3 point specialists other than Kobe (who's marked all the time anyway).
Personally I don't think Shaq wants to win this series anymore. Next season he's rid of Kobe and all the distractions and can get on with it.
Too bad for Malone and Payton, sometimes you can't buy a title. As for Larry Brown, gonna be sweet after all this time.
