i don't live wothout TV, but i don't watch it much (the last time watched anything was on sataurday night, but that was only a film at my friends house, and before that was friday night, which was recording of "king of skate" at another friends house-which was such a cool program!!!-and i don't know when i last watched it before that...
I really think that moderation is the key. A TV can be of value in gaining iformation about current events. I believe the problem exists when we rely upon it too much as a souce of entertainment which develops into wasting escessive amounts of time. I mean hey, if there's nothing good on then turn it off and find something constructive to do. π

p.s. I did not particularly like Death of a Salesman. Maybe I'm too stuck on Shakespear. I do like some of the more whimsical plays, like Bye Bye Birdie. Much better reading than much of twhat's on TV.

Originally posted by geniusI would never admit this to my friends, but I really like Romeo and Juliet. It's not that I like love and tragedy so much, but the artistic puns in there never cease to amuse me. As you might guess, I really dig the character Mercutio. The best of old school word play in my book.π
