I'll start with country of birth - N. Ireland
Like - Countryside and especially the north coast area. Cheaper than the Republic and the rest of UK. Dairy products, milk being top of the list. Lamb, rib-eye steak, duck, wild pigeon. Random people say hello when you're walking past them on the street. Cheap travel possibilities within Europe.
Dislike - The weather. Two weeks of sun, three weeks of snow and the rest rain. Religious conflict/discrimination. People unwilling to move on from religious conflicts and create a better, peaceful future.
The country where i live - Peru.
Like - The diversity of landscape and climate, snow capped mountains to warm beaches in 4 hours by bus. Fresh and delicious fruit and veg. Party and family culture. Culture in general. love of food. Waking up with clear blue skies and perfect views of the Andes.
Dislike - Lack of infrastructure in small cities/towns. Education level outside Lima is poor, especially the level of English considering how many people have English classes. Cost of chocolate and general cost of imported products.

Unemployment stats are astronomical.
You're right. Corruption is rife.

Just one sentence of each, please. That way everyone gets a fair go.
My country is: Australia.
I like: the way that compulsory voting ensures that we all have a say in how we live our lives, not just those with the biggest pockets and the loudest voices.
I dislike: the way that we are a huge empty country, yet 95% of us are crowded into a few enormous cities developed around the two great gods: (1) car (2) enormous house.
Like: Land of the free, home of the brave.
Dislike: Bureaucracy, lies, and politics.
