Kind of fun, although it's quite basic stuff. Judging from the discussions in Debates and Spirituality, I would guess that some people might have problems with some of these...
Edit: Oops, posted in the wrong forum... I hope some mod has mercy and moves it to General.

Also, if a) is true, then it wouldn't be water if an analysis would reveal a different composition; so they should either change a) ar say "every future examination of what seems to be water".
I got the last question right through second-guessing what they wanted me to answer, but I kind of disagree with it.

omg only 14 correct:/ (93 percent)
I see now, the last question 15 is indeed stupid.
"a) Water is a molecule composed of two hydrogen atoms and one oxygen atom.
b) Every observation or examination by microscope has confirmed this.
Conclusion
Therefore we can predict that every future examination of water will reveal the same chemical composition."
i also think they should give more information on the type of microscope they use, since regular microscopes cant really see atomsπ
besides, "predict"? you can always predict things? you dont need any data or facts to predict things? I cna predict its going to rain tomorrow, although i dont know crap about it, it would be more like a guess, but could be called a prediction, or am i lost?

Took a logic course many years ago in college, got 100% with no problem, the logic of syllogisms is easy if you know how to reason them out. Unfortunately you see people muddle up data and form the wrong conclusion all the time. Especially on this site.
