I think many of you are confusing humanstic love with lust and other emotions.
I don't think that it's anyone's birthright that I have any emotion for them whatsoever. I mean if you were on top of a ferris wheel and a segment of the crowd below suddenly disappered - would you really feel sad about it?
Love is a choice - humanistic or otherwise. Sounds bitter but when I pass people on the street they are like cardboard to me. I generally couldn't care less about them.
