Ok lads, i need your help.
I'm moving into a new room with my dearly beloved, and i'ev been charged with the decoration, and been asked what colour i like. Her choice was pink or blue.....i suggested purple.
Any ideas about colour schemes? Wouls you go with paper or paint for the walls? And, what's your thoughts on edging the cieling?

Why not different colors? It depends, how do you feel about stripes or spots?
In the bedroom I would really, really give it a try to the psychology of colors...
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Color_symbolism
For example, for a bedroom you could go for red, because as it says there Red strikes a chord with more cultures than many other colors because it’s intense, passionate and invokes an inherent physiological response. As for purple, I would avoid it because in some Asian countries it is the color of mourning.

id get most furniture in a kinda liek the same colour, but not everything. and id also pick a rather normal colour (so no pink or purple).
i dont mind paper or paint on the walls, if u pick paper u might find a nice motif you like, which would be harder to paint.

yeah, paper is alot of trouble....for ppl who set thier WALLS ON FIRE!
lol, nothing wrong with paper if u get someone to do it who knows how to do it ofcourse..
EDIT That said, it depends what's behind it. I don't know if paper can be put over unplastered drywall. Plastering over drywall is not nice at all.

dont tihnk so if you do it right, like huckle said, its pretty easy.

i dont see how its harder to clean then paint. If you smoke everything gets dirty and smelly anyways..
"It's a pain to remove"
I think u must also remove paint if you wanna paint-over?
Besides, its fun to remove, id remove all the big parts for freeπ
