I don't really know anything about XBOX except that it runs Halo. Can it play all the video and audio formats that the Playon!HD supports?
A quick Google tells me that the XBOX will only accept FAT32 drives. WTF?

Fine suggestion, but I don't have a PC at home, except a crappy laptop that is actually supposed to be a work laptop. So this would mean the cost of a decent PC, which is much more than these units cost.
I looked at an Intel Atom setup with XBMC on, but that would mean a bunch of tinkering and about $150, as I have no parts lying around I can use.
