Yeah, the ninja was great. If you've played VR missions, you get to use him. Hes really cool.
It's funny to run into a soldier with your stealth because he just looks around and says "huh". He looks so stupid.
Besides the fact that MG 2 for the NES wasnt designed by Hideo Kojima and that he has passed his supervision for the newest MGS part to a youger guy one must say this was the very first game featuring the stealth aspect.
Not just run through each level and kill but not to be detected.
I remember well when MGS for the PS1 came up. Bought it on a Friday, i think, then the Pal´s came around. 12 litres of Cola, two bottles of whisky and a bunch of pizza´s. Started the game for the first time. Everybody oooed and aaaed at the opening movie. Then we have tried to clear it on that weekend. Got the game cleared until you have to beat Metal Gear. Classic ! Wonderful.
I am deeply depressed about Sons of Liberty but Snake Eater just rocks ! I really had a hard duell with the Sniper, the End. Tried everything to sneak up on him. Give up sneaking and camped. All of a sudden this Bast... came up from the behind and tranquilized me baaadly. I nearly got a heartattack at this point. Had to fight my way back through and snipped him good afterwards.
Snake Eater is by far the best game for PS2 I played in the last years.
