Seeing as we've got various movie threads going, here's another one. I've walked out of two movies in my life. The first was Dune because I thought it was absolute rubbish and I've read the book about five times. The second was Once We Were Warriors - not because it was bad, but it was so gritty and depressing I couldn't handle it anymore. I wanted to slash my wrists, so went to the pub and had a meal and a couple of drinks instead.
Cos I was Poo.
I took a friend to see THE SIXTH SENSE. I thought it was a GREAT movie. But when it got to the part where the little girl was being poisioned, he had to get up and walk out of the movie! After a few minutes I went out to see if he was alright, and he was pacing back and forth... he said he just couldn't take it! :'(
Hmm....toughie...I actually have never walked out of a movie, but as SeraphimVulture, I wish I had walked out on Garfield and to a lesser extent, Dodgeball. Whoever told me to stay to the end of the credits should die.
A few DVDs I have stopped and never bothered to go back to, however - The Man In The Iron Mask (Leo Di Craprio - bleugh)
- Saw (It was really intense...the part in Adam's apartment just freaked me. Not too bad a movie however).
And yet, somehow, I forsee myself walking out of DooM the movie for some reason. Just a baaaaad feeling.

One time at band camp.....er, wait, once my wife and her grandmother dragged me to see the Horsewhisperer. I did walk out of that movie, but I was taking to the film under duress.

I love movies, my friend. Every movie I watch has a chance of being good, so why not? Sure, everyone hates Scooby Doo and Kangaroo Jack, but mostly everyone hates Blair Witch Project, which has already been mentioned here by your sweetheart Nyxie, and I absolutely adore that movie, so meh. But both movies definitely could've use ...[text shortened]... they coulda paid reference to Total Recall and made it three.... THAT woulda been cool...
