I like many of the above, but for some reason no-one seems to have mentioned Amelie, The Thomas Crown Affair (remake), or Being John Malkovich.

BTW, The Shining, Alien Quadriliogy (Got the box-set for my birthday...ah!), Bad Boys 2, Pulp Fiction, Resevoir Dogs (First time I threw up on a couch...), Japanese Story (Dunno if anyone else saw this...hmph.) Donnie Darko and Every trilogy ever made, but mostly Indiana Jones, Star Wars (New and Old Testament...er, I mean Series. Yes!) LotR, and that's all I can thinks of.

And the American version of the RING was crap.
The American version of The Ring was one of the scariest movies I ever saw. Is the original version The Ring way better or something?

I'm sorry, my mistake. Yes, I was referring to the new movie on the Alamo due next month.

Did you not like Terminators one or three? Did you also not like The Matrix Reloaded and Revolutions?

Because they all get arrested before they get to get it.

i love that film just because of the song about Sir Robid πŸ˜€πŸ˜›πŸ˜΅

Other favourites are....Any Nicholas Cage film, I enjoy pretty much every film (accept for lame comodys) so its hard to say.

But if you want a favourite i would have to say Oceans 11. A great film.

It is my personal opinion that Terminator 2 is the best of three, same goes for The Matrix, but nevertheless I watched them all.πŸ™‚

just did nothing for me. agreed salma is a plus but we hardly saw her - other than when the bad boy had a flash back.

Salma was supposed to be in it but Rodriguez only had a small time frame to make the movie and during that time she was in the process of making another movie. So he had to write her into the script as dead and did all her scenes last.

I really thought it was great- I absolutely LOVE the corny comedy. "Are you a mexi-can or a mexi-can't?" And Johnny Depp was a marvelous actor. Oh, and I was confused at the beginning with 2 dead characters being back as different characters, but ended up liking that.

Robert Rodriguez is great. I really liked the extras too.

Didn't you get the memo...

Office Space- the funniest movie ever
Absence of Malice- great drama and Wilfred Brimley (the sexpot!) is even good.
and... Miracle on 59th Street!! (although Rudolph prefers Mary on 69th Street)

It sure was one of the most funny ones, but I think some are better. I enjoyed Finding Nemo more, for example.

Don't know about the classics (Bambi, Cinderella, etc.), the animations aren't as beautiful as today's, but they have something more magical...
The Last Samurai is a great move too, I forgot that one in my last post.
