Hmm. As a economy major I'm not really the best to give advice on that note. Myself, however, I would take the upper division courses. I like knowing things that most people don't.

I saw a study which showed that most employers will mot even entertain a C.V with spelling errors. It is assumed that if the person is lazy with their spelling, they are lazy people.
